An Artist in the Making

In the past 2 weeks, Hailey has really started to color.  Not just a few scribbles and she's over it, but actually sitting at her table for 20 minutes at a time and making creations.  I used to have her table by our table, but the chairs were sliding on the wood floor and she was standing on them to watch TV from behind the couch, so I moved it to the carpet.  I think it actually fits there better and she isn't sliding all over with the chairs.
Auntie Katie got the color wonder markers for her for Christmas and I am very thankful for them.  She loves markers, but also loves to color everything!  Thank goodness they only work on the color wonder paper.

Here's her little nook:

There's some serious concentration going on here!  She usually has her tongue hanging out--a true Sullivan!

My seat.  She sits in the blue chair and I sit in the red.
The girl needs her mother to sit there while coloring.  I tried to get away to post this earlier, but she needed her buddy there.  The funny part is, even though she wants me to sit there, I'm not allowed to use the crayons or markers that she is using.  (I actually get yelled at.)  I usually have to use the extra set of crayons and coloring book while she goes to town with her markers and crayons.  When friends are here though, she shares just fine!

Here is progress of The Little Dude at 28 weeks!
All and all he is being nice to his mother.  He is extremely, extremely active.  Every once in a while he will get a good enough jab in there to make me jump- almost like someone sneaking up behind you to poke you in the side.  But I love feeling him moving around in there nonetheless.

  1. To funny about the coloring business. Aren't kids hilarious sometimes. And your belly looks great! I love your cute bump and hearing about how you get beat up as well:) Hope life is good while you are at home. Hugs.
